Tom Jurlina joined National Able Network, Inc., in February 2011 as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Mr. Jurlina brings extensive Data Networking, Information Technology (IT) Operations and Information Security experience in large corporate environments. As CIO, Mr. Jurlina provides the vision and leadership for developing and implementing technology initiatives.
Mr. Jurlina came to Able from General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS). At GDAIS he served as the Information Assurance lead supporting the Missile Guidance group. From 1986 through 2009 Mr. Jurlina held various technical and management positions at Motorola.
Mr. Jurlina served as subject matter expert on mergers, acquisitions, and divestures, as well interfacing with 3rd party providers. He developed best practices for auditing outside partners and contractors to assure technology continuity and network connectivity, and created technical methodologies for divesting and acquiring multi-billion dollar organizations with minimal disruption to the business. He has designed and built highly successful customized data management solutions, and developed numerous policies on a range of security and technology issues, such as data privacy, telecommunications, and appropriate use of company resources.
Mr. Jurlina holds a BS in Electronic Engineering Technology from DeVry University and a MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. In addition, he holds numerous specialized industry certifications which include a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and CISM (Certified Information Security Manager).
