I was incredibly fortunate to have an impactful start to my week spending time with our amazing board Chair Angel Torres meeting with federal lawmakers to educate and advocate for the reauthorization of critical workforce legislation.

Ensuring American businesses and job seekers continue to have access to the types of resources these programs provide is crucial to sustaining our nation’s overall competitiveness, as well as developing our workforce for the jobs of today and tomorrow.

Whether it’s providing recently unemployed individuals with vocational training for in-demand occupations, or ensuring that small businesses have access to on-the-job training supports and qualified talent, these important programs provide a sustainable pathway for communities to grow and flourish by creating access to economic security through meaningful employment.
